FRED's on the lower ground floor of Fenwick Newcastle offers a modern twist on a classic tea room, serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea daily.
Inspired by founding family member Fred Fenwick's passion for French culture and the Belle Epoque era, FRED's is a modern take on the Terrace Tea Room opened at Fenwick Newcastle in 1911.
Start with a morning coffee, fresh pressed juice and viennoiserie hand-made in store by our skilled patisserie chefs. The all-day menu features signature classics like the Fred's Club and Caesar Salad alongside new Italian-inspired additions including Rigatoni Arrabbiata and Spinach & Ricotta Tortelloni. Brunch lovers can enjoy favourites such as eggs benedict, smashed avocado on toast and Belgian waffles throughout the day, alongside speciality drinks including the strawberry matcha latte. For post-shopping pick-me-ups, choose from a carefully selected wine list, sparkling options, or signature cocktails like the delicious marmalade margarita.
FRED's now offers it's quintessential Afternoon Tea for £20 per person (Mon-Sat: 12pm - 4pm and Sun: 11:30am - 3:30pm), with bookings recommended. The brand-new children's menu also includes a Children's Afternoon Tea for £12.50 per person.
FRED's is walk-in only, with the exception of Afternoon Tea.

Kids can enjoy two free courses from the children's menu when adults spend £15 or more per person on food. Please note that drinks are not included in the free kids meals.
